No-Bake Protein Bars - Makes 8 servings. This comes from Oxygen Women's Fitness Magazine. I could eat this any time of day as one of my mini meals with a piece of fruit! If you can't read the "Cheap Energy" part in the pic, it says: 1 Tbsp of PB costs just 7 cents but is rich in healthy fats, which can prevent you from overeating.
Ingredients:
• 2 cups quick cooking oats
• 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
• 4 scoops protein powder (they suggested vanilla or cookies 'n' cream flavors but I guess you can do what you think you would like)
• 1 Tbsp ground flaxseeds
• 1/2 cup water
Directions:
• Knead all ingredients in a large bowl
• Line square baking pan with wax paper. Spread dough into pan using a spatula. Optional: spread a thin layer of PB on top (which will change the nutrition facts obviously)
• Freeze 30 minutes
• Remove from freezer & cut into bars
