Occasionally, I get asked to create exercise and workout routines for the local high schools athletic programs. Yesterday I had the privilege of working with the high school football team in Salem, UT. My task and goal was to put the team through a rigorous, team building / conditioning workout and that’s exactly what I did.
It was an awesome experience for me to be able to work with that particular group of young men. They were respectful, appreciative and willing to go the extra mile. They worked harder than I imagined they would and showed an extreme amount of will, heart, and guts. The coaching staff was very professional and supportive. They were open to my suggestions on the training that I was gonna provide and they helped enforce the program. The biggest thing that stood out to me about the coaches, was their willingness to put pride aside and allow others to bring new training ideas to their football program. That is what I call, “Good Coaching”. Their selflessness, immediately earned my respect. I also believe that is why they have a winning team.
I want to thank the Barlow family for having the confidence in me, to get me such an opportunity. Even Brandon!
