Camille's 12week Post

2/15/10So as part of this contest Kenny some how talked me into posting my progress. As most of you have expressed to me, I too am absolutely mortified to show you my pictures. I will blogging weekly about my progress and I will post my pictures every 2 weeks. If you want to fallow my progress I will be adding to this post; so just open the tab on the side of the page. I will add to the bottom of this one and date them as I go. As I change my nutrition plans, lifting or cardio I will let you know. I want all of you to know that this is not easy for me...I understand family stuff, bad days, stress, and the emotions that go along with this. The difference between your journey and mine is that mine will be an open "post" for the next 12 weeks. Whether it be good or bad you will see what is going on with me. I will be very honest about how I'm doing and how I feel. Please post comments (and ask questions).

Today is actually the first day in the 4th week of my journey, by the time the RAGE Fitness body transformation comes to an end I will have done a full 16 weeks. So when I started at week 1 I cleaned up my nutrition plan a bit (I still had treats quite consistently), started to weight train with HEAVY weight 4 days/week, and started a "cardio plan" of 15mins 4x's/week (unless I joined in on a class, or just didn't do it all together). My cardio has not been consistent at all.

After 4 weeks there has been some progress, but not as much as there should have been. REALLY not happy seeing the pics at all, but there is nothing I can do but do better from here on out. Sleep for me is huge!! and I need to get a few more hrs when possible. Its time to get serious. For the next 2 weeks I will be doing lower carbs (and no cheating) and increasing my cardio to 5 days/week with 2days of 2x's/day. Nothing too crazy I will be doing interval for 20 mins and steady state for 30 mins.

Honestly I'm not completely happy with myself. I believe I ate about a dozen sugar cookies this last weekend (it was VALENTINES?, no excuse it hindered my progress)!!!! So here I go!!!!

2/2/10 -- I know It was been more than 1 week, please forgive me. As I said before, these next few weeks I will be an open book so here IT GOES...I have my eating down, to perfection as far as my plan goes, which will keep evolving as I go. I am doing low carb days with a high carb day every third day. My lifting is going very well. I'm getting a lot stronger, but my cardio has some to be desired. I'm having a really hard time getting 2x a day in...I'm still trying to figure out how to make it fit. My new plan of attack is first thing in the am and right before bed.
All this being said, unfortunately I got my body fat tested and it went up. NO I am not happy but the more I research and talk to people I trust it has got to be my stress level and/or a combination of hormones. I have been in and out of the Dr. office for the last month (hopefully I'm figured out). I think that part of my stress will decrease, and hopefully it help my hormones. So I feel like this is my fresh start, its been 5 days and I'm FINALLY released to exercise again. Today was the first day back and my workout felt great. I will post new pictures next week!
